I typically book my projects 2-4 months in advance, so…sooner rather than later. I’m a one-woman show; I don’t work with a team or outsource projects to associate writers, so I only take on a limited number of projects at a time.
That being said, if you’re hoping to work together on a copy project, and our timelines don’t align, I have a few other options: I can audit your website for you and make suggestion, I can put you on my “Rain Check” list to be notified first if a spot opens up, or I can recommend one of my — extremely talented — copywriter friends to connect you with.
Absolutely! My job is to take on your brand’s voice so that I can create copy that’s a perfect representation of you and your brand’s personality, and I’ve designed my whole copywriting process with that in mind.
Before I write a single word for your project, you’ll fill out a (detailed) brand persona questionnaire to help me get to know you, your preferences, and your voice. Then, on our kickoff call, we'll go over everything together so I can make sure that I know your voice inside and out and am ready to portray your personality accurately!
(I also research your industry, so I know and understand any industry-specific lingo. Plus, I’ll dive into research on your target audience so I know exactly what they say & how they talk, and can weave it into your website copy naturally — which makes Google super duper happy.)

The long(er) answer: I work with both service-based & product-based businesses, but service-based are my main bread ‘n butter.
While there are many similarities in website needs, product-based businesses tend to require more front-end research and a bit more strategy in their copy — especially in product descriptions. Also, product-based businesses typically require larger websites, which means more copy than you may have initially expected.
